As I mentioned a few weeks ago, we are spinning up an implementation group, representing a wide range of stakeholders, who commit to work within an agressive timeline, and deploy implementations of the resulting specifications and service descriptions in the real world. We are working on getting the names of the implementation group publicly distributed.
As part of the implementation group, we are forming Working Groups to attack various aspects of the whole problem. The first Working Groups will address:
- User Story Review
- Content packaging
- XCA/IHE Robust HIE Interoperability
- Individual Involvement (e.g, push to PHR)
- Abstract Model review
If you want to get involved, but are not able to commit at this time to deploy real-world providers in late 2010, the wiki and associated discussion tools provide ample means for getting your voice heard.
As a final note, we are starting to lock down the members of the implementation group. My intent is not to add members after April 1st, given the timelines we need to hit.
